Green Chutney (Coriander-Mint)

Chutney is such an important part of any appetizer or chaat. A watery or bland chutney is not a good accompaniment to any dish. Up your appetizer game with this simple chutney!


This recipe is dedicated to my dad's sister and friend, who taught us this recipe many years ago. Although she lost her battle to cancer, she is gone but never forgotten. ❤️



Green Chutney


Ingredients

  • 2 Bunches Cilantro

  • 8-10 Leaves Mint

  • 1-1.5 In. Ginger

  • 3-4 Green Chilies

  • 3-4 Garlic cloves

  • 1 tsp. Lime juice

  • 1/2 Cup Almonds blanched

  • Pinch of Sugar

  • Salt to taste

  • Water

Directions

  1. Place all items in the blender. Add a little water to blend.

  2. If it looks too thick add more water. Store in air-tight container for one week.

  3. Additionally, you can freeze in small containers and use for up to 2 months. Enjoy!
